We offer comprehensive cognitive assessments that can be stand alone or supplement any of our other assessment packages.
Supporting diagnosis
Cognitive assessment can help provide additional information to support the right diagnosis for your child. Supplementary measures can be added on to support a formal diagnosis of a Learning Disability if this is indicated.

Cognitive assessments provide helpful information about a child's strengths and areas of need within learning. From these recommendations can be made to support your child within education. They can provide additional support for accessing SEND provision and also can support with the EHCP application process.
Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children - WISC V
This assessment is an in-depth assessment that looks at 5 domains of cognitive ability. This takes approximately 1-1.5 hours to administer with your child.
Outcome: A full report containing outcomes and recommendations within the school setting will be provided.
Adult assessment
Adult cognitive assessment can also be offered. This can be to inform a diagnostic process, or to further understand cognitive functioning for support needs. A full assessment report with outcomes and recommendations is provided.
